Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible for a driver to run without exposing himself to wind and rain while a cabin is set even in case of a vehicle equipped with a box type body like a bus body on a chassis frame.
CONSTITUTION: In a cab mount of a truck equipped with a fixed bracket 2 pivotally supporting a tilt cab 4 of the truck to a chassis frame 1 via an elastic member so that it can tilt forward, a tilt cylinder forward tilt operating the tilt cab 4, and a supporting member 3 supporting the rear arch 7 of the tilt cab 4, a bracket 5 is pivotally attached to the fixed bracket 2 having no elastic member. A bottom member 6 of the tilt cab 4 is welded to this bracket 5 while the rear arch 7 of the tilt cab 4 is welded to the supporting member 3, and the tilt cab 4 is removed, whereby a box type body 8 can be installed and fixed on the chassis frame 1.
