Abstract:
To improve the setting work and safety of a stopper member used in a cab-tilt stopper device for a cab-over vehicle by setting the stopper member automatically in place.
A safety rod is integrally coupled to a cab-side support 20 and a frame-side support 21. When a cab 10 is tilted up, this safety rod, which is normally pressed down, is raised correspondingly to support the cab 10. This support mechanism dispenses with a removal of a safety rod from its storage place and its setting work into a predetermined position at every cab tilt to thereby save trouble in such a cab tilt or improve the safety in such setting of the safety rod.
