To provide a cabinet with a latch mechanism in which a closing member is opened and closed easily, the projection of a shaft member with the operation of a handle can be concealed and a finger or the like does not touch with the shaft-section connecting side of the handle directly.
The cabinet with the latch mechanism is constituted so that shaft members 32 interlocked with an engaging-disengaging operating device 10 for the latch mechanism 18 are supported slidably in the longitudinal direction in a closing member 5a, the handle H on the front of the closing member 5a is connected to the shaft members 32, and a cover member 30a covering the shaft members 32 and the shaft-member connecting side of the handle H is installed to the closing member 5a extensively over the longitudinal moving whole regions of the shaft members 32 with the movement of the handle H, thus concealing the flying-out of the shaft members 32, then ensuring safety.
