To provide a cabinet with a top plate in which a connection terminal for at least one of power transmission and reception of an external device and information communication is easily connected to a connection part.SOLUTION: A cabinet with a top plate includes a cabinet and a top plate 3 which is provided on the cabinet and extends in a horizontal direction. The cabinet includes an upper part where the top plate is placed, a side plate 12 which is provided to extend downward from the upper part and constitutes a side surface of the cabinet, and a connection device 14 equipped with a connection part where a connection terminal for at least one of power transmission and reception of an external device and information communication can be connected. The top plate includes an outer end part positioned outside the side surface in the horizontal direction, and the connection device is arranged to follow the side surface below the outer end part and can switch between a protruding position where a part of the connection part is positioned between a tip end surface of the outer end part in the horizontal direction and the side surface and a retracted position where the connection part is closer to a side surface side than the protruding position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
