A cabinet is provided with one or a plurality of drawers 2 which are pulled out and pushed in by sliding in the direction of the depth on the opening of a main body of the cabinet and a handle 3 located all along an upper edge part 2a or a lower edge part of an end plate 21 constituting the front surface side of the drawer 2. A pair of latch mechanisms 4 for mooring the drawer 2 to the main body 1 of the cabinet are placed separately in the proximity of both end parts of the handle 3 of the cabinet, and each latch mechanism 4 is connected to operate in a synchronizing manner through the handle 3.
