PURPOSE: To facilitate door opening of a cabinet and the operation of a catch of a drawer, and also, to prevent a fact that the drawer jumps out erroneously and hits against the door, or rattles in a housing.

CONSTITUTION: This cabinet is a type by which a door can be opened by putting fingers on the lower edge 31 of the door 3, the lower edge 31 of the door 3 is positioned in a height in which a bottom plate front end face 23 of a drawer 2 can appear to the outside, so that fingers can be put thereon, and a clearance formed between a front part upper edge 41a of a catch 4 which is provided projectingly in the bottom plate front end face 23 of the drawer and has a finger putting part on the upper face, and the lower edge 31 of the door being in a closed position is set to such dimensions as fingers cannot be inserted. Also, this cabinet is provided with a latch release mechanism 6 for releasing a fixed state of the drawer by utilizing traction operating force applied to this catch 4.
