To provide a cable chain case such as a chain case capable of surely and easily fixing a support bracket to an engine with the smallest number of bolts.
In the chain case 10 integrally molded with a chain cover 11 and the support bracket 12, the chain case is mainly constituted in such a manner that: a first bolt hole 41 and a second bolt hole 42 are formed in the vicinity of an engine mount fixing part 12a; the first bolt hole 41 is located at a cylinder head side apart from an engine mount fastening face 12b and also apart from a boundary face between a cylinder head and a cylinder block in a load direction of the engine which is hung down to a vehicle body by an engine mount; the second bolt hole 42 is located at a cylinder block side apart from the engine mount fastening face 12b and also apart from the boundary face in the load direction; and a linear line C connecting the center of the first bolt hole 41 and the center of the second bolt hole 42 is substantially perpendicular to the engine mount fastening face 12b.
