To provide a cable chain case such as a chain case having dust entry preventing structure which can prevent the entry of dust.
In the chain case 1 in which a crank pulley 2 which is fixed to the side face of an engine, covers an endless chain for transmitting a rotation force of a crank shaft to a cam shaft, and is fixed to the end of the crank shaft penetrating a crank shaft hole 11 is arranged at the front face side, there is arranged a dust entry preventing part (lower end of a maintenance cover 13, a folded part 13a and a bolt 14a) for preventing the dust from intruding into the chain case 1 from the crank shaft hole 11 while opposing the rotation direction of the crank pulley 2 between the crank pulley 2 and the front face side of the chain case 1. Furthermore, a part 13b of the maintenance cover 13 and the bolt 14a are located at a notch 21a of a dust entry prevention rib 21.
