To provide a cable clamp device for a submerged pump capable of preventing wire severance accident by calling attention of a person who tries to move the pump by pulling cable to move the same with gripping a handle and preventing excessive tension from acting on the cable.

The device is composed of a cable clip 1 and a cable clip holder 6 provided on an upper surface of the submerged pump 7. The cable 11 led out from the submerged pump 7 is pinched and fixed to a cable pinching and fixing hole of the cable clip and a leg body part is press-fitted in an engagement hole of the cable clip holder 6 under condition of maintaining force opening outward. Consequently, a locking claw 5 engaging with a locking edge of the engagement hole lower surface with outward opening force is released from the locking edge 9 by receiving a little bit smaller load than weight of the submerged pump 7.
