To provide a cable connector for an automobile door, of which an operator can easily assemble a female-side connector and a male-side connector without the need of a coupling means such as a bolt, and mount the male-side connector on a panel of a car body without accompanying failure of assembling works of the female-side and the male-side connectors.
The cable connector has female-side and male-side connectors. The male-side connector has a flange fitted between a contact terminal part and a mounting part, and a water-proof sealing member. The female-side connector is insertion-coupled with the mounting part and has a contact terminal. It is further equipped with a plurality of elastic members formed at an outer face of the mounting part as well as a latch concave part for an end of a connector-mounting hole of the car body panel to be fitted into. A guide connection device has a cam concave part as well as a locking concave part fitted at an outer face of the mounting part and a sliding lever fitted to the female-side connector in free sliding. The sliding lever has a guide protrusion moving along the cam concave part, and a locking protrusion locked to the locking concave part.
