PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce the cost of an electronic circuit board by providing an overvoltage protective element for protecting subscriber circuit.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of subscriber lines 3 applied in a cable 5 are introduced into a case 4, and a plurality of pin sockets 1 are provided corresponding to the subscriber lines 3 to be disposed at the front end part of the case 4. An protective element 2 is provided for each subscriber line 3 between the pin socket 1 and the subscriber line 3. For the position of this cable connector with other devices, it is connected with a subscriber circuit containing device or the like through the pin sockets 1 on the right, and the cable 5 on the left side is extended externally through a main wiring board to each subscriber. The cost of an electronic circuit board and the main wiring board can thus be reduced.
