Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the watertightness of an underwater motor by pressing a flexible portion of a large-diameter portion on the entire periphery of the inner periphery of a penetrating hole by deflecting the large-diameter portion of an external connector toward the radial outside, thereby reducing the radial extending size of a cable connector of the motor. CONSTITUTION:An inner connector 11 connected with a stator 2 in an underwater motor is engaged with the engaging hole 4a of a terminal board 4. The small-diameter portion 12j of a connection part 12a of an external connector 12 is engaged with the hole 4a to be connected with the connector 11. At this time, the bottom 12f of a cable lead 12d and the lower end 12 of the part 12a are compressed by the end 4b and the step 5c therebetween, a large-diameter part 12k is deflected radially outwardly over the entire periphery at the deflected part 12M, which is pressed and sealed with the inner periphery of the part 12M.
