Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a tool having a cutting function and a holding function by providing pliers be butt attached to the ends of two holding halves, and providing a fitting laminating cutter at a slightly end side of a cross-laminated part from a shaft mounting part.
CONSTITUTION: The grips 8 of holding halves 1 at a base side are held, the end sides of the halves 1 are closed. Holding contact edges 2 of pliers A provided at the ends of the halves 1 are butt attached to hold the end of a cable by the edges 2. When the cable is disposed between opposed cutting edges 5 of cutters B and closed, it is introduced into closed opening formed of both edges 5. When the edges 5 are further closed, the ends of the edges 5 are further gradually superposed toward base end pivot sides to reduce the area of the closed opening. The cable is cut by the superposed edges 5. Thus, even if a thin article can be gripped, and a soft cable wire can be easily cut.
