This cable cutting tool is composed of a main body 1 and a cutting lever 2 connected to each other, and the main body 1 is provided with a holding recessed part 7 engaged with an outer peripheral part of the cable, and a cutting slit 6 opened along the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the cable in a condition that the holding recessed part 7 is engaged with the cable. The cutting lever 2 is provided with a cutting blade 14 pivoted on the main body 1 to be oscillated in the slit 6, and having a curved or linear blade part on a part intersecting the holding recessed part 6, and the cutting blade 14 cuts the cable C held by the holding recessed part 7 by oscillating the cutting lever 2 in one direction to the main body 1.
