Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cable fixing device which permits cables of various diameters to be fixed with only one device and can attain large clamping force and facilitate mounting. CONSTITUTION: This cable fixing device is provided with two clamping members 10 of the same shape. The clamping member 10 involves a pair of first clamping arms 14 and second clamping arms 16 protruding perpendicularly from a base part 12. The first clamping arms 14 are of the same shape and disposed in parallel at a prescribed interval manually. The second clamping arms 16 are disposed in parallel between the first clamping arms 14, and have a width roughly equal to the interval of the first clamping arm 14 all over. The first clamping arms 14 and the second clamping arms 16 are provided with a clamping surfaces 18, 20 for clamping a cable respectively. The clamping surfaces 18, 20 involve two curved surfaces that are formed into a symmetrical curved shape, facing each other and have different radius of curvature. The respective clamping surfaces 18, 20 are formed with a plurality of grooves 22, 24 extending along the curved surface respectively.
