PURPOSE: To simply and efficiently carry out changing of a cable gripping position by changing a relative position of a grip and a cable wire in the cable gripping released state, restoring the cable gripping state by the grip by way of moving a cylinder to extend, and removing a piston rod from the base end part of a pressing body thereafter.

CONSTITUTION: In the cable gripping released state, a carrier is moved along a cable wire 5, a new cable gripping part which is a cable wire part slipped out from an initial cable gripping part is led to between both grips 7, 12 and supply of pressure oil to a hydraulic pressure chamber 24 is opened. When supply of pressure oil is opened, a cylinder 21 is returned to the most extended state by energizing force of disc springs 27... (and disc springs 4a...), a spring receiving shaft 13 advances simultaneously, and the cable gripping state by both of the grips 7, 12 is restored. At this time, the disc springs 4a... is perfectly returned to the state before release of cable holding, and cable holding force by the energizing force of the disc spring 4a becomes optimum. Thereafter, a front end part 23a of a piston rod 23 is removed from a connecting part 15 of the spring receiving shaft 13.
