A cable housing box is installed on the rear of a desk where a personal computer is mounted, and the excessive part of an equipment connection cables is housed in the cable housing box for putting the cables in order. When a personal computer is mounted on a desk, the cable housing box is magnetically attracted to the back of the desk. The excessive part of the connection cable is folded and housed in the cable housing box. The excessive parts of other cables are also successively housed in the cable housing box, and the box is closed with a lid.
