Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable laying information printer for simply printing laying information at a job site. SOLUTION: A cable introducing unit, printing unit, speed detector and cable feeder are arranged in series on a platform 13a of a trestle 13. And, a cable is fed to be moved on a printer head 15 by a ball stringing unit 17 for constituting the feeder. A feeding speed of the cable is detected by an encoder 16e of the speed detector. A personal computer 10 calculates a feeding distance of the cable based on an output of the encoder 16e, and outputs laying information and print command to an ink jet printer 12 at each predetermined feeding distance. Then, the laying information is printed at a predetermined pitch on a surface of the cable via the head 15.
