PURPOSE: To provide a control cable reducing the voltage drop of the control cable and excellent in reliability by connecting multiple cores of the control cable of the elevator of a multistory building and branch lines at branch sections in the lump.

CONSTITUTION: An indicator control cable 1 is vertically arranged in the hoistway of an elevator having a long travel stroke, and it is provided with branch lines for indicators 6 and door switches 7 on individual floors. Indicator branch lines 5 are connected and branched in the lump for each control system from the branch portions 3 molded on individual floors. The voltage drop in the electric wire is reduced, the indicators 6 are prevented from becoming dim or uncontrollable, and the indicators 6 on high-story floors can be operated with stable and high reliability.
