To provide a cable manufacturing method with which solder fixation of an external conductor can be performed under pressure and heat by holding the external conductor with a ground bar, while suppressing a local breakage of an insulator made of rein foam, and a cable obtained by the manufacturing method.
A ground bar has a first folding part piece 11b and a second folding part piece 12b on both ends of a base part piece 11a, respectively. An insulator 3 made of resin foam in coaxial electric wires 1a and 1b arranged in a planar shape is held between the base part piece 11a and the first folding part piece 11b. An external conductor 4 folded back on the first folding part piece 11b is held between the first and second folding part pieces, and is subjected to solder fixation in block. During soldering of the external conductor 4, a spacer member is held between the first folding part piece 11b and the insulator 3 in order to mitigate the influence of the pressure and heat during the soldering on the insulator 3.
