PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling of a compound cable of metallic line cores and multiple-core optical fiber lines in a device to let out or wind up the cable to follow the movement of a moving body such as a giant crane or the like by providing a main and a sub reel to be mutually adjacent and rotated in one body.

CONSTITUTION: In this construction, a main reel 1 on which a flat type compound cable 2, for example, with three metallic line cores 3 and two optical fiber line cores 4 is wound up into layers is supported on a hollow shaft 6 on a support bracket 5 fixed on the side of a moving body for letting out or winding up the cable 2 to follow the movement of the moving body. Slip rings 7 and brushes 8 are equipped on the periphery of the hollow shaft 6, and the brushes 8 are connected to metallic line cores 3 in the compound cable 2. Meanwhile, a sub-reel 10 is supported to be rotatable at the end of the hollow shaft 6 on the side of the reel 1 for winding round a optical fiber cable 12, and thereunder, a box-shaped containing tray 14 is provided. The said cable 12 is connected to an optical fiber 15 on the side of the moving body.
