Abstract:
To restrain a cable from extending from a conduit mouth due to a surfing phenomenon.SOLUTION: A cable restraining apparatus 10 is for restraining a cable 4, which moves due to a surfing phenomenon, in a manhole 2. The cable restraining apparatus comprises: a cleat 40 having a clamp part 41 for clamping the cable 4; a frame 50 for supporting the cleat 40; a pair of steel materials fixed on an inner wall 7 of the manhole 2 at a position away from a conduit mouth 6, and arranged on both sides of the conduit mouth 6 so as to be able to extend in an arbitrary direction; at least a pair of frame fixing parts 60 fixed on the frame 50; at least a pair of steel material fixing parts 30 fixed on the pair of steel materials; and a joint member 70 for connecting the pair of frame fixing parts 60 to the pair of steel material fixing parts 30, and capable of adjusting a gap between the pair of frame fixing parts 60 and the pair of steel material fixing parts 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
