PURPOSE: To develop a small-sized simple suspension bridge.

CONSTITUTION: Supporting bases 1A, 1B are mounted and fixed onto abutments A, B respectively. Railing blocks 11 are axially supported on the supporting bases so that a loop-like railing ring-shaped cable 2 is passed around both of the blocks in a stretched state. The upper and lower portions of the cable are restrained by grips 21 so that railing panel 22 of desired shape and floor board panels 32 of desired shape are bitted into hollow sections formed between the upper and lower portions of cable. And a floor board ring-shaped cable may be passed horizontally around the blocks. As a result, the construction is simple and construction work can be easily performed in a short period of time. The number of the kinds of members is small and hence economical advantages can be achieved, and further strength calculation is simple so that safety can be clearly confirmed. If railing panels are selected from the viewpoint of design, effects for creating a fine view of a city can be produced.
