Abstract:
To provide a cable storage container which hardly causes change (deterioration) in mechanical characteristics such as strength and can be continuously used over a long period of time even when embedded in a pavement road having a surface layer covered with paving material including asphalt.SOLUTION: A cable storage container 1 comprises: a resin container body 10 including a bottom wall 11 and both side walls 12, 12 which extend from both ends of the bottom wall 11 in upward direction, and internal space S partitioned by the bottom wall 11 and both side walls 12, 12 to house a cable, in which top ends 13, 13 of both side walls 12, 12 are open; a lid body 20 fitted and housed in top parts 12a, 12a of both side walls 12, 12 of the container body 10 to close the opening; and a barrier rib layer 30 arranged at least on outside surface of the top parts 12a, 12a side of both side walls 12, 12 configuring the housing body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
