Abstract:

To provide a cable support device that can sufficiently follow the degree of freedom of a robot wrist without increasing cable slack and enlarging a stroke of a holding part.

A cable support device is provided with: a holding section 52 for holding a cable 11; a linear motion mechanism 54 having a linear motion slider 70 movable along the longitudinal direction of a second arm 24; and a rotation mechanism 56 having rotation sliders 92, 93 rotatable along the circumferential direction of the second arm 24. The linear motion mechanism 54 and the rotation mechanism 56 enable the holding section 52 to be displaced along the longitudinal and circumferential directions of the second arm 24.
