Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable supporting device of a window regulator which is excellent in coupling workability of an outer cable and a retainer, in coupling strength, and in connecting workability of the retainer and a cable guide bracket in the window regulator.
SOLUTION: The cable supporting device of the window regulator has a notched groove 22 of which the end part is opened, and which is formed by a pair of parallel cut lines 21 to the cable guide bracket 12 or a drum bracket, and has a wide width part 22a at the depth from its entrance part; the retainer with which a pair of opening/closing half bodies 31 having recessed semi- cylindrical cable holding recessed parts 32 on an inner surface of the cable guide bracket is provided, and which is capable of opening/closing to an opened state that the outer cable 20 can be inserted from the direction perpendicular to its extension direction and to a closed state to hold the inserted outer cable, groove parts 36 which are formed respectively on an outer surface of the pair of the opening/closing half bodies of the opening/closing retainer 30 and are capable of engaging the retainer in the closed state from an opened end part of the notched groove with a notched groove edge; and pulling-out preventing claws 35a to be engaged with the wide width part.
