A cable support structure 30 is constituted of a bracket 47 which is to be attached to a boat and provided with a U-groove 76 for housing the cable outer 72 and a holder 48 which is provided with a U-groove 85 to be fitted to the step part 73 of the cable and which clamps and holds the cable outer 72 by being attached to the bracket 47, and the U-groove 76 to be provided to the bracket 47 is made horizontal or inclined downward as going to the interior.
