Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding machine that allows an easy attachment and detachment of an elastic member.SOLUTION: A binding machine includes: a curl guide portion 5A for curling a wire W sent by a wire feeding portion 3A around reinforcing bars S; a binding portion 7A accommodated in a main body portion 10A, the binding portion having a rotation shaft which is provided at one end thereof with a gripping portion 70 and has a threaded portion, and a movable member 83 screwed onto the threaded portion and displaced along the rotation shaft by a rotational movement of the rotation shaft, the binding portion 7A being configured to cause the gripping portion 70 to grasp the wire W curled by the curl guide portion 5A and cause the rotation shaft to twist the grasped wire W for binding the reinforcing bars S; a driving unit 8A connected to the other end of the rotation shaft and driving the rotation shaft; and a buffer member connected to the rotation shaft in a fitting manner and provided at one end terminal of a moving path of the movable member 83. The buffer member includes: an elastic member having a hole connected to the rotation shaft in a fitting manner and a cutout portion extending in the radial direction of the rotation shaft for the split thereof; and a guide member having a hole connected to the rotation shaft in a fitting manner and covering at least a part of an outer periphery of the rotation shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
