Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly wind and unwind a power source cable of an air compressor for incinerating carbon.
CONSTITUTION: In a remover for carbon on the oven wall of a coke oven equipped with at least one or more nozzles 7 and 8, communicating with a hollow part in a rack beam 3 of a coke oven pusher 2 in the vicinity of a ram head 4 and connected through the hollow part of the beam to an oxygen- containing gas pressure feeder 9 in the rear of the rack beam and further an oven wall temperature sensing head 10 in the rear of the ram head 4, a power source cable 15 of the oxygen-containing gas pressure feeder 9 contained in an air feeding hose 19 for cooling of the oven wall temperature sensing head 10, together with a signal cable 21 of the oven wall temperature sensing head 10, are respectively connected through the objective one cable winder 20 provided above the rack beam 3 to an air feeder for cooling, a power source and an oven wall temperature instrumentation panel. Thereby, the breakage accident of the power source cable can completely be prevented and trouble to the coke oven operation caused by the breakage of the power source cable can be eliminated at all.
