Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead single-unit cord orderly out of a connection box and prevent them from entwining one another.
SOLUTION: At a part where an optical fiber ribbon 3 is led out of the cable 1, a gas dam is formed by a dam part 12 and a dam case 11. Further, the optical fiber ribbon 3 is divided into single fiber cords 4 at a division point 18. This division point 18 is supported in the support hole 16 of a holder 15. Further, the dam case 11 and holder 15 are both put in a connection box 10.
