A cable working vehicle 1 includes a boxed body 7 arranged on a vehicle body 3, a cable reel 15 for winding a cable C on the vehicle body 3, a guide 27 for guiding a cable C to be moved and a rack to place equipment and materials thereon. The top plate portion 11 of the body 7 is freely open/ closed, the cable reel 15 is arranged in front of the vehicle body 3 in the body 7, the guide 27 is arranged above the vehicle body 3 in the body 7 and the rack 25 is arranged behind the vehicle body 3 beyond the cable reel 15 in the body 7. When the cable reel 15 is used to wind the cable C thereon, the top plate portion 11 is made open for exposing the cable reel 15 and the guide 27.
