PURPOSE: To smoothen cryogenic starting of a cableway driving device for a lift, etc., using a linear solenoid actuator by providing a thaw mode to make thawing of the actuator, etc., separately in voltage/frequency control patterns for an inverter power supply for supplying power to the actuator.

CONSTITUTION: Two types of voltage/frequency control patterns are provided for an inverter power supply 13 which supplies the power to a linear solenoid actuator 2 - that is, the voltage/frequency pattern 14 of a conventional operation mode and the voltage/frequency pattern 19 of a thaw mode to make thawing of actuator 2 and an action plate 10 which have thawed. The frequencies of the thaw mode pattern 19 and the operation mode pattern 14 are the same being f0, and the voltage V1 of the thaw mode is set to 10-20% of the voltage V0 of the operation mode. Thereby it is possible to supply the voltage/frequency pattern 19 of thaw mode and allow the actuator 2 to ruin temperature for thawing. which can be done with a minor power consumption.
