Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and rapidly retrieve proposed data by referring a plotting list displayed on a display part and instantaneously selecting data to be retrieved from the plotting list.
CONSTITUTION: The computer aided design(CAD) system 9 is provided with a plotting list forming part 10 and an area processing part connected to the forming part 10. The forming part 10 plots graphic data stored in a data file 8 at the time of inputting a list display command while relating with a data control part 7, forms a plotting list in which a plotted data corresponds to each data name and displays the list on a display part 4. Thus, the proposed data can be easily and rapidly retrieved.
