Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for home elevator in which side plates hardly hinder when holding a hand rim of a wheelchair by the hand, and which is easy to use in a wheelchair.SOLUTION: A cage 1 for home elevator includes: a bottom plate 2 which allows a user to ride in a wheelchair W1; a pair of side plates 3, 3 standing from both ends of the bottom plate 2; and a pair of protection plates 7, 7 provided so as to cover inner surfaces at the lower part of the pair of side plates 3, 3 respectively. The height L1 of an upper end of each of the pair of protection plates 7, 7 from the bottom plate 2 is within a range of 350 mm-450 mm. The thickness L2 of each of the pair of protection plates 7, 7 is within a range of 30 mm-60 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
