Title:
CAGE POSITION DETECTING SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54115852
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To aim at improvement of maintenance property and position detecting precision, by constituting a pulse generating unit by the use of a tape with slit and a plural number of proximity switches.

CONSTITUTION: A pulse generating unit 20 is constituted in such a manner that a tape 21, in which slits 22 for position detecting pulse and slits 23 for reset pulse are perforated, is stretched at the inside of a lifting passage of an elevator cage, and proximity switches 10 and 17 are fixedly located on a cage opposite to and facing the tape 21. And thus, a position detecting pulse 9 is produced by the proximity switch 10, is counted by a binary counter 12 via a buffer circuit 11, and is input to a micro computer 15, which incorporates a ROM, through an input register 14 under a control of a timing circuit 13. and reset pulse 16 is generated by proximity switch 17, is input to the counter 12 via a buffer circuit 18, and is input through an output register 19 to the micro computer 15 according to the reset data. And thus, a cage position can be detected. Consequently, detection can be made with no need dor any mechanical contact, and distance between slits can also be shortened. Detecting precision can thus be improved.
