Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a rolling bearing having a slide face excellent in slide performance even under conditions of oil lubrication, high slide speed, and high plane pressure, and the rolling bearing using the cage.SOLUTION: A cage for a rolling bearing is used in an oil lubrication atmosphere, and has a slide layer which is formed on a ferrous metal material. The slide layer forms a substrate layer including a heat resistance resin and a first fluorine resin on a surface of the ferrous metal material, a second fluorine resin layer is formed on a surface of the substrate layer, and the slide layer is formed by being irradiated with radiation after calcining the substrate layer and the second fluorine resin layer. The heat resistance resin is not thermally decomposed in the calcination, and the push-in hardness of the slide layer after the irradiation of radiation measured by an ISO-14577 method is 52 to 90 MPa.
