Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cage type low noise valve where an orifice at each stage uniformly bears a reduced pressure load so as to realize effective attenuation and enhance a noise reducing function.
CONSTITUTION: In a cage type low noise valve comprising a valve main body 1 having an in-flow chamber 6 and an out-flow chamber 7 partitioned by a partition wall 5, a cage 10 disposed-on the partition wall, a slide valve 30 slidably inserted into the cage, a plurality of variable orifices 15, 18, 22 defined by the cage and the slide valve, pressure restoring chambers 17, 20, 21, 24 and a fixed orifice 25, the plurality of orifices are formed in such a manner that an opening area of the orifice at each stage is gradually increased toward downstream of air. Consequently, since the opening area of the variable orifice at each stage is gradually increased toward downstream, the variable orifice at each stage uniformly bears a reduced pressure, thus smoothly reducing a pressure.
