To provide a cage type pressure reducing structure in which occurrence of noise, vibration, cavitation, or the like in pressure reduction of high pressure fluid is suppressed, and stable control can be achieved, in a low noise type regulator or a control valve.
A cage type pressure reducing device includes: an outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 having many holes 4a through which a fluid from an upper stream side is made to flow into the inside; an inner peripheral side variable cage part 5 arranged at the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 and having many holes 5a through which a fluid from the outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 is made to flow into the inside; a plug 2 arranged between the outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 and the inner peripheral side variable cage part 5, and having a shutting-off wall plane 2a changing continuously the holes 4a, 5a of the outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 and the inner peripheral side variable cage part 5 through which the fluid can be passed, by sliding; and a fixed cage part 6 having many holes 6a through which the fluid from the inner peripheral side variable cage part 5 is made to flow to the down stream side; The hole 4a of the outer peripheral side variable cage part 4 and the hole 5a of the inner peripheral side variable cage part 5 are arranged while respective axial center positions are shifted.
