PURPOSE: To take out a cake in correct position without causing damage by making suckers movable along manufacture line and movable up and down, then sucking the cake and transferring into a container tube planted in a container.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer member 36 is lowered with respect to a cake to be carried on a carrying chain so as to suck the cake by means of suckers 38. Then the transfer member 36 is lifted and moved in the direction of an arrow C along a guide groove 35. The suckers 38 suck the cake then aligns with a container tube 39 in a container 37. Thereafter, the suckers are released so as to drop the cake in the container tube 39. Consequently, the cake is mounted on a supporting rod 42 which lowers sequentially as the cake is contained. When the cake is contained, the container tube 39 is removed from a fixing plate 40 so as to take out the cake. With such arrangement, the cake can be taken out in correct position without damage.
