To provide a calcination temperature determination method of an inorganic base material by which calcination temperature can be accurately recognized even when the inorganic base material is calcined in a calcination furnace of an optional system, even when the inorganic base materials are stacked and calcined and even when the inorganic base material is calcined at any temperature.
This invention is related to the calcination temperature determination method of the inorganic base material 1 when the inorganic base material 1 is subjected to calcination treatment. A relation of calcination temperature to color difference between color of the inorganic base material 1 before calcination treatment and color of the inorganic base material 1 after calcination treatment at two or more stages of temperature is obtained in advance. After calcination treatment, color of the inorganic base material 1 is measured to obtain color difference between it and color of the inorganic base material 1 before calcination treatment and obtained color difference is collated with the relation of calcination temperature to color difference to determine temperature of calcination treatment of the inorganic base material 1.
