To provide a treatment method of recovering calcium as a hydroxide and separating and recovering copper, zinc and lead from calcium-and heavy metal-containing matter.
The method comprises the steps of :(A) obtaining solid part containing calcium sulfate and lead sulfate, and liquid part containing copper and zinc, by mixing calcium and heavy metals of fly ash etc. with sulfuric acid to form slurry of pH not higher than 4, followed by filtration; (B) obtaining liquid part containing calcium hydroxide and lead, by mixing the solid part obtained in the process (A) with an alkalization agent to form slurry of pH not lower than 13.5, followed by filtration; (C) obtaining liquid part containing copper and zinc, by adding zinc powder to the liquid part obtained in the process (A), followed by filtration; and (D) obtaining solid part containing lead sulfate and and zinc hydroxide and liquid part, by mixing the liquid part obtained in the process (B) with the liquid part obtained in the process (C), adjusting pH to 9-12, followed by filtration.
