Abstract:

To provide (1) a calcium phosphate complex to form an apatite layer with excellent peeling resistance under invivo environment onto the surface, (2) a method to efficiently manufacture the complex and (3) an artificial biological material for artificial bone etc. using the complex as a raw material.

This calcium phosphate complex is manufactured by fixing an apatite nucleus forming agent comprising calcium phosphate is immobilized on a substrate with hydrophilicity at least in its surface. The substrate preferably comprises metals, ceramics, or high polymers.
