Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a calcium receptor-active composition effective against primary and secondary hyperparathyroidism, Behcet disease, maligant hypercalcemia, osteoporosis, etc., by using a specific amine derivative as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This calcium receptor active composition comprises a compound of formula I [X is H, an alkyl, an alkoxy, etc.; Ar is phenyl, 2-pyridyl, benzyl, etc.; R is H, methyl, ethyl, etc.; Y is CH, etc.; Z is O, S, etc,; (m) is 0-5] or its pharmaceutically permissible acid addition salt or complex and a pharmaceutically permissible carrier. The compound of formula I is preferably a compound of formula II (Alk is an alkylene; R1 is an alkyl; R2 and R3 are each an alkyl, an alkoxy, etc.). NPS R-467, i.e., (R)-N-(3-phenylpropyl)-1-(3-methoxyphenyl) ethylamine, etc., are especially cited as the compound of formula I.
