Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide calcium scale prevention apparatus and preventing method in which a pharmaceutical expense is reduced, and an operation cost is suppressed to be low.SOLUTION: The calcium scale prevention apparatus includes: a filter 4 that filters a solution containing a calcium ion (a leachate W2 of a final disposal dump or the like); and an amphoteric ion-exchange resin 5 that separates a solution exhausted from the filter into a solution with a low calcium ion concentration and a solution with a high calcium ion concentration. The solution from the filter is separated into the solution with a low calcium ion concentration and the solution with the high calcium ion concentration by using the amphoteric ion-exchange resin, and each solution is processed separately. The generation of the scale by CaSOcan be suppressed to the minimum even if sodium carbonate or the like is not added to remove calcium ion, and the operation cost can be reduced. The filter 4 can be disposed on: a supply piping of calcium ion to the amphoteric ion-exchange resin; or a piping provided downstream of a junction M between the supply piping and a reclaimed water supply piping that supplies reclaimed water to the amphoteric ion-exchange resin.
