PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform correct calculation even when a person in charge of calculation performs erroneous input by automatically checking errors.
SOLUTION: In this system, a charge is calculated as a normal medical cost every time for a treating action actually given to a patient such as a medical examination, a test and medicine administration, etc., in a medical institution and a guidance charge and a management charge for the stipulated number of times are calculated as the medical cost in each predetermined unit period. In this case, a calculation number-of- times reference memory 4 for storing the calculation reference of the guidance charge and the management charge such as the unit period and the stipulated number of times, etc., for each patient and a calculation number-of-times counter 6 for counting the number of times of calculation for the operation-inputted guidance charge and management charge for each patient and resetting the number of times of the calculation every time the unit period elapses are provided, and when the number of times of the calculation of the calculation number-of-times counter exceeds the stipulated number of times determined in the calculation reference as the result of the input operation of the guidance charge and the management charge for which the patient is specified, a calculation failure is alarmed.
