Title:
CALCULATION METHOD FOR ALLOWABLE STRESS AND SETTLEMENT OF IMPROVED GROUND MAKING USE OF SOUNDING TEST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3963139
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a theoretical formula for an allowable stress of an improved ground in consideration of influences on depth up to the foundation bottom from the ground surface, the ground water surface and a lower soil layer of the improved ground bottom for calculating the allowable stress of the improved ground making use of a sounding test.
SOLUTION: In an analysis method for the allowable stress of the improved ground, the allowable stress is calculated by making use of a ground strength analysis method. In a ground deformation analysis method, the allowable stress is regarded as external force, the settlement and the consolidation settlement are immediately calculated, and the allowable stress, making deformation not higher than the allowable settlement occur, is adopted as the allowable stress of the improved ground. In the case where the allowable stress can make deformation in excess of the allowable settlement occur, the value reducing the allowable stress is adopted as external force, the settlement is calculated to repeat the calculation until the value reaches not higher than that of the allowable settlement, and the allowable stress of the improved ground can be decided.
