To provide a calendar manufacturing apparatus capable of efficiently manufacturing a calendar with a hanging string.

An elongated hanging string 18 is wound up on a drum 72. The hanging string 18 wound up on the drum 72 is drawn out of the drum 72 by a string supply unit, cut to a predetermined length, and supplied to a string adhesion device to make it adhere to the calendar. It is supplied to string adhesion device. The string supply unit has a lifting ring 74 for passing the hanging string 18 drawn out from the drum 72, and an air cylinder 75 for lifting the lifting ring 74. Before drawing out an edge of the hanging string 18 wound up to the drum 72 and cutting it, the string 18 can be loosened by lifting the lifting ring 74 using the air cylinder 75.
