Abstract:
To improve a useful life of calibers rolls for rolling preventing cracks occurring in the roll bodies.
In the caliber roll for rolling whose outer surface has a plural of calibers in order to roll billets to scheduled dimensions, the ratio of the width of the calibers: WK (mm) in the predetermined position to the width of the roll body: WD (mm) should be 4.22 or more, that is WD/WK≥4.22.
