Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform calibration by avoiding the use of an old color chart or the color chart outputted in other image foming apparatus and using a proper color chart.
SOLUTION: A time at the time when a calibration chart is outputted is stored in a start time holding means 107 or synthesized in the chart to perform printing and, when the chart is inputted, the time and the time formed by an internal time forming means 104 are compared by a time comparison means 109 and, when this chart is not inputted within a predetermined time, and image rejecting means 112 prohibits the processing or a parameter forming means 110. The machinery inherent to an image forming apparatus outputting this chart is synthesized with this chart and, when the chart is inputted and is not the chart outputted from the same image forming apparatus, the setting alteration of each parameter based on the calibration chart is prohibited.
