Abstract:
PURPOSE:To calibrate the operation of a temperature controller rapidly over a wide temperature range by forming optional low and high temperature environments easily around the temperature controller by using a cover for a calibrator body, a cooled air feeder, etc. CONSTITUTION:In case of calibrating under low temperature environment, the controller 1 is set, a cooled air part 9 is inserted into a fitting cylinder part 5, the cooled air feeder 6 is fitted to the cover 3, the controller 1 is covered with the cover 3 so that an exhaust port 4 is turned to the upper side, and compressed air is supplied to supply cooled air from the cooled air part 9 into the cover 3 to drop the temperature of a space 11 in the cover 3. The temperature of the space 11 is visually measured by a thermometer 12 and reduced down to a prescribed temperature. The existence of the opened/closed sound of an operation switch of the controller 1 is detected by a microphone 14 to check whether the controller 1 operates properly or not. Therefore, the operation of the controller 1 in the winter season temperature setting range can be tested by setting the temperature of the space 11 to a low temperature approximately similar to the temperature in the winter season at the start of the summer season. At the calibrating under high temperature, hot air is used in stead of cooled air and approximately similar operation is executed.
